Zu Beginn als kleines Pummelchen verspottet, ist auch der dritte iPod nano trotz seines hohen Preises inzwischen etabliert. Dafür hat er durch das geänderte Format ein helles und scharfes Display, auf dem man sogar Videos ansehen kann.
Dass er unmittelbar nach dem Auspacken in eine Silikonhülle muss, damit die hyperempfindlichen Obrflächen nicht zerkratzen, führt zu dem üblichen Paradoxon, dass man sein gutes Design quasi niemals zu Gesicht bekommt.
Die Bedienung in Verbindung mit iTunes als Medienzentrale ist wie üblich nahezu perfekt und übertrifft sämtliche anderen Player. Inzwischen sind auch kleine Spiele, Fernsehsendungen und Filme nur einen Klick entfernt.
Frech ist inzwischen, wie der letzte Cent Marge aus dem sowieso hohen Verkaufspreis gepresst wird: So hat der Kopfhörer keine Ohrpolster mehr, beim Transferkabel gibt es nur noch eine Abdeckung, und auf die CD wurde ganz verzichtet. Wer sich ein Netzteil wünscht muss sowieso ins reich bestückte Zubehörregal greifen.
So kommen zum Preis schnell noch die Kosten für eine Hülle, das Netzteil, einen guten Kopfhörer etc.
Trotzdem ist auch der neue iPod trotz des hohen Preises ein Volltreffer, und zeigt, warum Apple den Markt zu recht anführt.

Lamaze - Gardenbug Wrist Rattle Footfinder Set

I love this little set, and so does my baby girl. She is three and a half months old and discovered her hands recently. She stares at the bugs and tries to put them in her mouth. She is taking some notice of her feet while I change her so it is only a matter of time before the socks grab her attention too. The black and white stripes and rattle/crinkle sounds are very engaging. (The little bug faces are adorable too!)

Best toy bought so far
This was the first toy that completely captured the attention of my 3 months old. Started with the wrist rattles which he loved to stare at for ages and now at 4 months he's finding the foot rattles lots more fun bouncing his feet up to grab the bugs and then ofcourse trying to put his feet into his mouth! Definately recommend

Great Starter DSLR
I asked lots of friends who are much better than I and they all suggested this camera as a starter for someone who wants to explore photography as a hobby! It's a great camera for point and shoot and very easy to understand. the menu can be as easy to understand or adapted to add all the extra's which i don't yet understand. The handbook was helpful. The editing suite that comes with it is also very simple and basic, so great for someone learning. I would highly recommend it in an age where there are som many camera's available. yes, it only has 6mp but that hasn't changed the photo's that I have taken and the quality when they are blown up! Also, as I read somewhere, the composition of a photo is nothing if the focus isn't spot on, so if you know someone wanting to start then this camera is easy to use and understand and I love it! I have also uploaded some of the photo's I took on the camera - so you can see how bad I am and how great the camera is!
Well worth the money!

You dont need glasses to use this top bit of kit
Before admitting the need for laser eye treatment and having got great results from a Canon compact ixus 500 when I could see without blurr I saw the cashback deal for Nikon and thought I might be able to use a new SLR without having to find my glasses before thinking of taking a picture. Age was the factor in the need for change but for the long-sighted in denial this camera was the answer for me. What a result - something easy to use,readable,substantial in the hand and producing ace photos! Put that with the cashback, the next day delivery and a huge discount via Amazon and before you know it taking pictures is better than it was 10 years ago.

Great Value
After playing with the D40 and a 400D in a high street shop.
I found that the 400D couldn't take a portrait picture of a balloon in the shop, whereas the D40 had no issues. I found that the D40 was more suited to a beginner. (which is me)
The D40 is more suited to people with smaller hands due to the camera body dimensions and you can only fit a small selection of lens's to the camera (ie ones with the AF servo built into the lens) I'd recommend going into a high street shop to have a play, look at the prices and laugh. Then goto amazon as the prices are considerably less
Other than these items, the battery life is great and you can still take upto 1 - 2 fps with the flash going!
Overall this is fantastic value compared to the 400D

Use Wii Sports for example, since it comes free (FREE) with the console. You probably know that you get five games, Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf and Boxing. You use the Wiimote (Wii remote, the long white 'controller' that comes with the console, works great) just as you would in the normal sports, and in boxing you also use the Nunchuck (fits perfectly in your hand). The motion sensors are great, it recognizes every time you move the controller. In baseball you can move the bat around, it doesn't stay in a fixed position.
But wait, why don't you just stop being lazy and play the real sports?
Wii Sports also comes with a fitness training section where you do three tasks a day (see how many skittles you can knock down, how many basebalsl you can hit out of the park) and calculates your Fitness Score. 20 is the best you can get (28 is my best).
A lot of other games for the Wii work great with the controller, and you can even use the Internet on it. If you have the Internet, you can also use it to check the weather, news, download older games and share scores with your friends.
Best of these 'next-gen' consoles because it's easily the most fun. And if you think there's no 'serious' games like PS3 or 360 has, you're wrong - Resident Evil 4, Red Steel, Call of Duty are jsut a few.

I got a wii for christmas 2006 i believe, and as soon as i got it, i wasted no time in setting it up, and ramming wii sports into the disc drive. The wii itself is rather pretty, compact (especially when turned on its side), and shiney.
As for issues with the console, it's never overheated, and i've never had any hardware issues, so the nintendo customer support guys can have a nice long coffee break.
The one wii remote included, comes out of the box immaculately clean, and it really is a nice thing to look at. Nintendo spent a LOT of time designing this. When the wiimote is connected...( this can take a while but you wont need to do it again until you go round a mate house and connect to their wii with it )... the fun can begin.
Wii sports is an absolutely great game, and everytime somebody comes to you're house, hours of fun can ensue, even with one wiimote.
My favourite game is boxing, but each game is excellent in its own way.
Now in 2008, there is a sizeable array of different games and accessories available for you to buy, i would reccomend adding a few games to you're order if you do decide to buy this. I would personally go for Wii play as you get another wiimote, and then whatever stand-alone game you like. Then you're more or less set!
